St. Giles in English.
Dates from the 13th century but renovated in 15th century.
Houses some nice paintings and as records say, the tomb of Hans Memling. The famous
painter. The organ is one of the best of Bruges and it's surroundings.
It's the only church with a clock (bells don't ring at night) and therefore the area around it is called St. Gillis Village. (Churches with clocks are typical for villages in the countryside)
